Handmade memorial jewellery, crafted with care in Bristol

A simple, personal way to keep a loved one’s ashes close

Handmade memorial jewellery pendant crafted in Bristol.

Thoughtfully made, one piece at a time

The Bink Ashes Pendant is a small, handmade piece of jewellery that permanently holds a pinch of your loved one’s ashes.
One side is textured and the other polished (with an inscription of your choice if you wish).
I make each piece in my Bristol workshop using traditional silver and goldsmithing techniques. The idea is simple; something deeply personal that is well-made and meaningful, which you can wear every day.

“The very first pendant was made for my family after my dad died, and that meaning continues to shape every piece I create today.”

About the Bink Ashes Pendant

One side is highly polished and, if you wish, I will inscribe your loved one’s name, wording of your choice or even a symbol. This side also carries the hallmark.
The other side is textured.

Dad loved engineering, and one of his favourite engineers was Brunel. He somehow got hold of a section of Brunel’s wide gauge railway, and I use this piece to add the texture. It creates a small but meaningful link to Dad and also to Bristol, where I live and make the pendants.

No two pendants are exactly the same. They are all made individually, one-by-one.

A personal  experience

Whether it is to remember a member of your family or a beloved pet, the Bink pendant is a very personal item. With this in mind, I like to meet my clients before I am commissioned. In person or online. It is entirely up to you.

During the consultation we will talk through:

  • The text or name you would like engraved

  • The metal

  • The type and length of chain

  • How the ashes will be collected and handled

I will take you through the whole process from start to finish, including how I work with the ashes. Everything is always clearly labelled, carefully stored and treated with respect.

If you already have a chain you would like to use, I can make the bail to fit.

Any questions at all, please drop me a line.
